The story of this wedding photography gallery starts in Moor Close, a manor house on the grounds of Newbold College in Berkshire. It’s a stunning mahogany slice of history, so there’s no surprise that it was chosen by our story’s lovebird, Ana & Daniel for their wedding.
Brazilian beauty Ana spent her first couple of years in England living in this very building as she took her theological studies, so for her it still feels like a little piece of home. Daniel is no stranger to being far away from home, either, but was lucky enough to be able to get his mum and sister over from Australia in time for the wedding.
These two together are just unbelievably sweet, and their shared warmth radiates from them like a smiley little space heater. I love how they were up for anything when it came to their wedding photography, even traversing some crumbly old ruins to get my favourite magical shot on the stairs.
The wedding ceremony was really special to photograph. Conducted completely bilingually by their pastor in both English and Portuguese, it was a beautiful prayer-filled hour of smiles & love. Addressing her family watching from Brazil on a livestream, Ana gave an emotional thank you at the end, lovingly supported by Daniel.
Then, the real fun began! Confetti, photos with family and friends, and a wonderful wedding portraits session in Newbold’s leafy grounds led us all the way up to dinner, where the celebrations really started! Ana & Daniel had gathered in loved ones from all over the world, and it meant plenty of different wedding traditions were incorporated – this is the day that I learnt that shouting “viva los novios” every few minutes is normal in Spain!
