I’m Lauren
I think it’s really important when you choose someone to be there to capture your biggest moments that you don’t feel like they’re a stranger, and it’s even better if you find out some things you have in common!
So, as a way of an introduction before we start chatting properly about what I can do for you as a photographer, here’s a little about who I am, beyond the camera…
- Well, most important first, I have a staffy called Pumba. He’s physically huge but easily the most emotionally-pathetic dog on the planet. He does his best to be a great Edit Buddy
- I speak Spanish to an advanced level, albeit a little rusty now. I learnt this during over 2 years of travelling around Latin America
- I’ve played classical guitar since the age of 7, and electric since 12. I was pretty good and dedicated a huge amount of time to it, but then I discovered eye-wateringly sweet Wetherspoons cocktails in my late teens, and we all know how the story goes from there
- As if being a wedding photographer wasn’t enough, I’ve now been a bridesmaid/maid of honour EIGHT TIMES
- I am also currently planning my own dreamy wedding… It’s going to be styled like a Viking banquet with a confusing splash of gothicness and I cannot WAIT
- I have an incessant need-for-speed, and used to kart for a couple of racing teams
- I can’t stand not being busy, which is why it makes perfect sense to me to run a photography business, maintain a travel blog and consult on brand strategy all at the same time. Creative variety is the spice of life!
