It’s hard to explain why I love shooting commercial & corporate events.
It’s a weird kind of buzz, but I think what I really enjoy is capturing how the room turns from nervous energy as people start to arrive and wonder what kind of interactions they’ll have, to open laughter as they meet new people, join great conversations and become more and more comfortable.
Like many photographers, I didn’t leave university knowing that I wanted to pursue photography (actually, I didn’t even own a camera at that point), and so my ‘other’ career has meant I have an extensive background in branding & strategy.
This gives me really clear insight into what companies want to portray through their images, depending on their brand, the usage of the images and the messaging behind the event.
Importantly, it means I’ve also attended many commercial events myself as a guest, and I know what I’d be looking for in a photographer in that moment – someone who…

- represents the spirit of the company/event
- doesn’t stick a flash in my face
- doesn’t catch a photo of me mid-canapé
I provide candid coverage for commercial & corporate events photography, rather than red carpet-style backdrop photos.
COMMERCIAL & CORPORATE EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY PRICING
The pricing of my commercial & corporate event photography coverage is dependent on a few factors; length of coverage, travel, anti-social hours, any special requests and speed of delivery. Please get in contact below to discuss your event.
I charge by the hour, and the minimum photography coverage is 2 hours.
YOUR GALLERY
I do not limit the number of images I deliver from an event, I simply deliver all those that I find both interesting in subject and technically sound. Usually, this is around 30-40 images per hour of coverage, but this can fluctuate based on what’s going on in the room.
All images are delivered in an online, downloadable gallery that you can password-protect and share with others.
EXPEDITED DELIVERY
My usual lead-time is 2 weeks for you to get your hands on your finalised gallery of edited images.
However, for photography of corporate & commercial events I do offer the option to expedite your edits to within 24-48 hours for an additional fee – dependent on my availability, of course.
