Wanna to do some garden party photography on one of the hottest days of the year? Lawd.
One thing was abundantly clear at the beginning of Sebastian & James’ big garden party for their friends and family to celebrate them tying the knot… It was going to be SWEATY. Thankfully the ice buckets were on-hand and the events marquee provided a touch of shade for this day to still end up being pretty darn spectacular. In the end, it’s only the drone that decided it had had enough of the heat, and took a hefty dive into the River Thames.
This garden party was a dreamy one, with a mouth-watering three-course meal from the highly-skilled Oh My Nosh chef & team, garden games, lots of uni reunions and a staggering amount of Pimms.
But overall, my major takeaway from being the events photographer at this garden party was that I need more friends with boats. I’ll let the below photos speak for why.
